AJ

AJ is a self-taught graphic designer, art director and illustrator with a knack for bringing together technology, culture and design. He has worked on experiential, digital, web/mobile and integrated campaigns for brands around the world. He has designed for and collaborated with brands including Nike, Jordan Brand and Adidas, alongside a wide range of independent brands.

His apparel work has delivered millions of dollars in sales worldwide. He has created officially licensed work for athletes in the NFL, MLB and NBA, as well as for properties including Coca-Cola, Star Wars and Marvel.

AJ was an Art Director at Ogilvy, where he was largely responsible for starting the digital department. He has judged local design shows, spoken at Graphika Manila, and regularly shares his work and experience with colleges, universities and creative communities.

Along with industry pioneers, he helped start the Communication Design Association of the Philippines to raise the value of Philippine design and elevate Filipino designers globally. He also started Filipinomads Creative Network to help Filipino creatives work remotely for brands around the world.

He currently experiments with vibe-coding apps and feels a bit like he’s discovered the internet all over again.
